Annalyn Paniza has been working in hairdressing industry since 1998. She worked as a
L'oreal Professional Technico-Commercial Trainer for six and a half years (2005 to
2011), conducting academy seminars in Manila, Cebu and Davao, and doing product
demos and collection shows all over Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. As a
trainer/educator of L'Oreal, she has had the chance to travel and train at the best
hairdressing academies like Elle Academy in Malaysia, Toni and Guy in Singapore
and Kim Robinsons in Hongkong. She also had the priviledge to work with
institutional artists/ambassadors of L'Oreal Paris France, Taiwan, China, Hongkong,
Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and Australia. Her exposure and trainings
helped her develop her communication skills, delivery skills, handling complaints,
communication assertiveness. From among the 18 educators of L'Oreal Philippines, she
topped the exam on the scientific and technical knowledge about hair, skin
and products project of the zone. Having mastered every detail of the professional
and technical aspect of her job, she is highly sought-after by salon owners to work
with them to train their hairdressers become "the best hairdressers of the world".
However, at the end of 2011, she decided to pursue her passion as a freelance
hairstylist, makeup artist, hairdresser, skin care specialist, trainer and
consultant.
Her love for makeup started since she was a kid using only a piece of lipstick to
beautify others. Anna has been cutting her own hair since she was seven years old
when her mom cut her hair from long to super short. People were coming to her to
have their haircut for free. She took BS Computer science in College, but her love
of beauty drives her to study Cosmetology at PCIST Pasig. After she got her
certificates and licences, she started to work in a small salon. Her dream of
becoming a well-known makeup artist like Fanny Serrano leads her to apply a work
at his salon. She has been very grateful having mentored by only the best stylist
and makeup guru Fanny Serrano. She started as assistant to senior stylist, then as
senior HMU artist after a month of training by FS himself and was promoted as a
senior stylist and makeup artist after another month of training by L'Oreal
Professionnel. From then on, she has worked her magic hand to the
elites, celebrities, politicians, beauty contestants, models and women from
different walks of life. Anna's editorial works have been highlighted in pages of
numerous Philippines showbiz magazines such as S Magazine, Celebrity Living,
Celebrity Homes and Sense & Style
Her stint in L’oreal Phils started when the company created a "Color Expert Salon"
in 2004, where she passed the exam as a color expert. The following year, the color
expert program was revised and "Color Expert Hairdressers Club" was created. She
took the exam and landed the "Top 3" and was the only female among the top 5
passers. Seeing her talent and great potential, L’Oreal education manager, asked her
to join the company as a technician. Although hesitant at first, she accepted the
offer, and that decision became the start of a lifelong of studying, working,
travelling, teaching, sharing of knowledge, expertise and inspiring others to reach
their dreams of becoming successful in the beauty industry.
